Extended Arabic and Chinese capabilities now available in CaseWare AML Compliance
Ottawa, Canada, January 20, 2017 – CaseWare Analytics, creator of data analysis and continuous monitoring software solutions for finance, accounting, governance, risk and audit professionals, is pleased to announce that version 5.3 of CaseWare AML Compliance now offers the ability to screen Arabic, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese customer names using the Sanctions List Screening module.
Effective sanctions screening is a key requirement in any anti-money laundering (AML) program. This includes identifying high-risk individuals and entities, such as politically exposed persons (PEPs), while applying sophisticated matching algorithms to minimize false positives. Adding the ability to screen names with Arabic, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese characters is a significant enhancement for our global customer base.
CaseWare AML Compliance has know your customer (KYC), transaction monitoring, sanctions list screening and regulatory reporting capabilities in a single platform. Organizations adopting CaseWare AML Compliance have capabilities that span advanced and configurable analytics, visualizations, workflows, alerts and case management. This allows users to identify high-risk individuals and entities, detect suspicious transactions, manage investigations and compliance risks through automated workflows, and file reports with regulatory bodies such as FinCEN.
